Electronic Parts Required To Build Robot

Recently when I was browsing Internet I came to know that, it is not difficult to build a robot (Wait! When design planning is already done!). We need various robot platforms, sensors, gearbox kits, and dc motors. We also need software’s like PCP design, computer vision, AVR, etc.

An industrial robot consists of controller, drive, end effector, sensor, and arm. The controller is the brain of the robot and permits the parts of the robot to function together. Robots arms differ in size.

The end connector connects the robot arms and functions as a hand. The drive is the engine or motor that moves the links into their selected spot. Sensor permits the robot to receive feedback about its environment. Nowadays many robots in industries are six axis robots. The sensor gathers the information and sends it electronically to the robot controller. One of the uses of these sensors is to keep two robots that work intimately together from bumping into each other.
